Educational Underwriters, Incorporated reviews the research behind educational products. Those products which meet NCLB requirements as scientifically research based earn the EdU “Research Based” education seal of approval. Founded as a service to schools seeking to cope with NCLB requirements that all products be scientifically research based, EdU reviews all of the research supporting a product and rates its compliance with NCLB. Companies joining EdU agree to full disclosure of its research to its customers and EdU. A full report is compiled by EdU which rates each, individual study, checks researchers credentials, and verifies the publication venues of the research. The entire body of research supporting a product is presented in the EdU Research Portfolio and rated accordingly. In addition to research certification, EdU serves as your overall research management solution. Our non-profit status enables us to keep rates as low as possible. EdU is located next to the National Weather Center on the University of Oklahoma research campus in Norman, Oklahoma and housed in the K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal — a leading educational research entity.
